Throughout this book you will find symbols like the one here. These are two-dimensional barcodes that can store link, plain text, SMS text message, addresses, URLs, Geo location, e-mail, phone numbers, and contact information. They are used for quick connections (response) between static and online content. The easiest way to describe them is as paperbased hyperlinks. Once you have downloaded a compatible QR Code Scan Reader (we recommend the Scanlife or Mobio App), take a picture of the code using your phone camera, and you will be linked to the related information.
